In Windows 7, My Pictures by default is located in C:UsersLoginidPictures. For example, in the case of administrator of the system this would be in c:usersadministratorPictures. W can change this to a different location through Pictures properties window. This can be done by doing the following steps. These steps can be followed for changing My Music location too.
- Click Start button
- Right click on Pictures
- Click Properties. It opens a window named Pictures properties.
- Now click on Include a Folder
- Now select the folder where you would like to place My pictures and click Include folder
- Then select the new location dispalayed in the pictures properties window and click on Set save location
- Then click OK .
The above steps work for Windows 7 and Vista.
