Internet explorer, like any other browser, keeps track of the websites you have visited, the cookies these websites have created, passwords you allowed IE to save etc. This history can be deleted in the following ways.
- From Internet explorer window click on Tools and then Internet Options
- Now click on the Delete button (see the image above). Now it will launch Delete browsing history window.
- Select the files you would like to be deleted and click on the Delete button.
- Wait till the history is deleted. After completion, close Internet Options window.
There’s a more simpler way to delete Internet explorer history. In Internet explorer window press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Shift-Del. When you press this key combination you will be prompted with Delete browsing history. After this step the procedure is same as explained above.
