On Windows Vista operating system, Aero glass effect can be enabled as follows.
- Click on Start icon. (or Ctrl-Esc)
- Click on Control Panel
- Under ‘Appearance and Personalization‘ click on ‘Change the color scheme‘
- Select ‘Windows Aero‘ in the list of options under Color Scheme
- Click OK
